2 July — New article on vaccine hesitancy. My article, “Conspiracy Theories Are Central to the Complex System of Predictors of Italian Vaccine Hesitancy,” was published in Italian Political Science. Read the article.

February — New LONELY-EU research resource. With Katarzyna Growiec, Maike Luhmann, Yiming Tang, and Cristiano Vezzoni, I released the LONELY-EU WP3_1A: Database of Loneliness Datasets in Europe. View the report and database.

6 February — SUSPECTS project article published. Our overview of the SUSPECTS comparative research programme appeared in Italian Political Science. Read the article.

New work on political participation. I presented “Disconnected Citizens: Social Isolation, Loneliness, and Voter Turnout in Europe” at a LONELY-EU ambassador meeting and at the project’s internal seminar.

Teaching. I taught the Applied Statistics Lab for MA students at Collegio Carlo Alberto, using R.

4 December — Beyond constraint. “Beyond Constraint: Tightness and Consensus of Political Belief Systems” was published online in Italian Political Science Review. Read the open-access article.

1 August — Anger and inequality belief systems. “Consolidation and Change” was published online in Network Science. Read the open-access article.

July — Comparative conspiracy-theory measurement. Co-authored work on cross-national measurement was presented at the International Society of Political Psychology Annual Meeting in Prague and at the AssoComPol conference in Milan.

Invited presentation in Salzburg. I presented comparative research on conspiracy beliefs, conspiracist mentality, and political ideology at the University of Salzburg’s Department of Political Science.

New position. After completing my PhD in Political Science, I joined the University of Milan as a postdoctoral researcher on the Horizon Europe LONELY-EU project.

2024

Inequality belief systems. “Inequality Belief Systems: What They Look Like, How to Study Them, and Why They Matter” was published in Social Indicators Research. Read the open-access article.

Belief systems as networks. I presented my research at the INSNA Sunbelt Conference in Edinburgh, at the University of Milan-Bicocca, and at Behave Rendez-vous in Milan. I also delivered an invited MA lecture at the University of Milan.
